How the game works
- Three levels: Genei Ryodan (easy, 20s), Zoldyck (medium, 15s) and Chimera Ant (hard, 10s) — all with 10 questions.
- Score: 10 points per correct answer + 1 point per second left + a streak bonus that grows with consecutive correct answers.
- Result card: at the end, download a custom PNG showing your name, Nen type, score and rank.
- Don't know your Nen type yet? Take the Nen Test first — it's saved on your device and used on the trivia card.

What the questions cover
The pool spans the whole series rather than one arc. Expect the Nen system and its four major principles, the six categories and the affinity hexagon, the Hunter Exam, the Phantom Troupe and the Yorknew auction, Greed Island's card rules, and the Chimera Ant arc from the queen through the Royal Guard.
A fair number of questions turn on how an ability is limited rather than on what it does, because that is where Hunter x Hunter actually keeps its detail. Knowing that Kurapika's Chain Jail only works on the Phantom Troupe, or that Chrollo has to ask a question and get an answer before he can steal an ability, is worth more here than remembering episode numbers.
Spoiler warning
Questions reach through the end of the Chimera Ant arc and include how several major fights resolve. If you have not got that far, the Nen type test is the safe alternative — it asks about you rather than about the story.
Where to brush up first
The two topics that come up most are the Nen categories and the arcs. Reading the techniques guide and the arc summaries beforehand tends to be worth several questions, and the affinity chart covers the hexagon questions on its own.
Frequently asked questions
What does this Hunter x Hunter trivia quiz cover?
Questions are drawn from across the series: the Nen system and its six categories, the Hunter Exam, Yorknew City and the Phantom Troupe, Greed Island, and the Chimera Ant arc. They range from character basics to the specific rules behind particular abilities.
Is the Hunter x Hunter trivia free?
Yes, free and with no account needed. Answer, see your score immediately, and play again as often as you like. Nothing you answer leaves your browser.
How well do you need to know Hunter x Hunter?
Someone who has watched or read through the Chimera Ant arc should recognise most of it. A few questions turn on details of how specific Nen abilities are limited rather than on plot events, so knowing the system helps as much as knowing the story.
Does the trivia spoil the series?
Yes, in places. Questions cover events through the Chimera Ant arc, including how several major fights end, so it is best played after you have got that far.
